Vinaròs is the most northern town of the Costa del Azahar and extends on a plain in the north of the province of Castellón, right on the border of the province of Tarragona. This port city, known for its tasty shrimp dishes, has a commercial and fishing port. The bathing beaches in the region, which are equipped with all service facilities, are a special attraction for all holiday guests. Sights such as the Sant Agustí Monastery (today the Wenceslao Aiguals de Izco Municipal Concert Hall), the Giner and Membrillera houses and the fortified church of La Asunción are also worth a visit.
