Port de la Selva in the north of the Costa Brava in Spain

El Port de la Selva in the north of the Costa Brava dazzles with its impressive variety of landscapes, ranging from picturesque beaches to majestic mountains. The striking mountain range Serra de Rodes, which includes peaks such as Sant Salvador and Puig de Queralbs, shapes the town’s landscape and gives it a unique atmosphere.

The earliest historical records of El Port de la Selva date back to 974. However, the town’s real development began in the 18th century with the construction of its first church. Until the rise of mass tourism in the 20th century, El Port de la Selva primarily relied on fishing. Despite these changes, the town has preserved its original charm as a small fishing village.
